The study of the demographic phenomena Fertility of women requires a series of annual demographic indicators (synthetic indices) and a series of indices by generation and sex. General fertility refers to women of a fertile age (14 to 49) and matrimonial fertility refers to all married women. The production corresponds to the statistical operation Demographic indicators (ID), and its basic source of information is the operation known as Demographic Survey (ED), of a structural nature.
