The Population and Housing Census offers both an accurate snapshot of the active population and an analysis of the difficult strata for a survey and is the source of information on work mobility of the employed population and study mobility of the student population, or for calculations on the Average Weekly Work Time by stratum. The series of annual employment rates by age stratum and sex for the Basque Country as a whole comes from the conjunctural operation (PRA) and constitutes a structural indicator with a high degree of comparability in the European statistics framework.
