Objectives

The quality file sets out to bring together a list of quantitative indicators that reflect the quality of a specific statistics operation for each of the quality dimensions or factors established by EUROSTAT. This quality file has been produced using the standard quality indicators proposed by this European body and others arising from EUSTAT's own statistics operations procedure.

Whenever possible, alongside the real value of each indicator a reference value will be added whose mission is to facilitate the interpretation of the “goodness” of the given indicator. In general it will be expressed by a maximum or minimum value of the reference of the indicator.
